Our Frequently Asked DTG Questions.

1What is direct to garment (DTG)?
DTG printing is a method where a specialized inkjet printer applies water-based inks directly onto the fabric of a garment—similar to how a desktop printer prints on paper. There's no need for screens or stencils, making it perfect for detailed, full-color designs.
2What is the largest DTG print size available?
Currently, 14 wide x 18 length is the largest print size available.
3How durable are DTG prints?
DTG prints have decent durability. Because the ink is directly printed onto the fabric, DTG prints can last up to about 40 washes with proper care.
4What fabrics work best for DTG?
100% cotton yields the best results. Blends work but may appear less vibrant and have less durability.
5How do I care for my DTG garment?
  • Wash inside out, cold water
  • Mild detergent, no bleach or softeners
  • Hang dry or tumble low
  • Do not iron directly on print
6Why does my shirt have a box shaped stain?
It is not a stain. That’s a residue from pre-treatment—it’s harmless and washes out completely. Check out our blog for more information. Pretreatment.
7Can I color match exactly with DTG?
No, we don’t offer color matching. The final output depends on how the printer interprets the digital file, and slight variations may occur due to factors like screen settings, garment color, and fabric type.
